The fantasy genre has always been a source of great adventures and thrilling stories. I can't help but be inspired but the classic stories, as well as those lesser known. One thing that has always bothered me, when a sequel is written, why is it assumed that evil lost in the first book? Having played many fantasy video games, with ever increasing back stories, always evil loses and in the sequel the bad guy comes back for a second try.
Maybe Evil wins the first round, and now with a devastated world, Good must make a come back. This is the premise of my book, "The will and the ring".
